Adventure
On page 145 of the February 1946 issue of Adventure is "The Trail Ahead" section, which talks about stories coming up in the next issue. It has the following paragraph about Farmer's first story:
And Philip José Farmer in "O'Brien and Obrenov" tells the hilarious saga of an American officer and his Russian confrere whose respective troops had the ungrateful task of sharing the occupation of the same German town. It was the misfortune of both that Schutzmiller, that arch-Nazi, had to be captured where their zones of authority joined, and a lucky thing for both that even though they wore different uniforms they were drinking-brothers under the skin.

Page 11 of issue #8 (Spring 1953) of the fanzine Destiny has this full page ad for Farmer's article Lovers and Otherwise.
Satellite
Page 27 of the May 1959 issue has the following promo for The Strange Birth in the next issue. The June issue was never printed and The Strange Birth was finally printed as Open To Me, My Sister in F&SF.
